Happy Halloween to all!

Hope all you ghosts and Goblins are doing well tonight.
Cohen went out tonight for his 1st official trick or treat and did fantastic. I went out expecting him to make it to 5-10 houses and he did our entire crescent and adjoining street. Boy was he tired tonight! I think we had around 100 kids tonight and the weather was amazing!

Well, our file has now been at the embassy for 3 weeks now and no news. Looks like we won't have our file on it's way to Ethiopia by the end of the month.......Maybe we can hope to have it there for Dales birthday!?!?!? How about mine???? Ugh! Some days it feels like we are stuck and moving nowhere! Oh well, some things you just have to sit back and be patient.......this sure is a true test of patience. But in the end it will all be worth it!

Cat and Dog turn out to be good friends....

After our trip to the skating rink we headed over to the Halloween carnival in Pilot Butte..... The kids had some fun playing games and making crafts, but the best part was getting to have their faces painted. It's true, cats and dogs can learn to get along!

First time on ice!

We took Cohen skating this Sunday for the first time and he loved it. The hardest part was trying to explain to him that he had to learn how to stand on the ice first as he thought he should be able to take off like the guys in the NHL or WHL do! Our little hockey nut!

Hope everyone is having a great Thanksgiving day filled with family and friends!
We really are lucky to be living in such a great country filled with so many opportunities and resources. We sometimes take for granted all that we really have and it takes a special occasion for us to stop and consider all the wonderful things that we have in our lives.

Our Dossier was not in the fire and is now at the Ethiopian Embassy in Canada!!

Our Dossier was not in the office at the time of the fire in Medicine Hat last week! Phew! And is now in at the Ethiopian Embassy in Canada.

There was a large fire in downtown Medicine Hat last week and even though our agencies office did not actually burn there was extensive damage and they have had to relocate until the renos are complete! Thank goodness the agency was spared!

Let's all hope and pray that it is on it's way to Ethiopia by the end of the month!
