As some of you may have noticed I have been playing with the idea of going private. With the turn our adoption has taken I have decided that I would like to know who is reading our blog while I share details and express my deepest feelings. Often there are 60-70 hits on our site each day yet there are only a few that leave posts and that leaves me to wonder who else is reading.
So for anyone who would like to be added to the list of visitors please send me an email or include your email in the comments section. I have changed it so that it will not be public for this post.
I hope that many of you will continue to follow our journey and provide the support that we often need.
Thank you!

Awaiting an update.........
We had found out this past week that the information that needed to be looked into in E had not yet been looked at. So, while we where thinking that progress was being made behind the scenes we actually just spent the last month standing still making no progress what-so-ever.
So, our agency was suppose to have a conference call this weekend with our rep in Ethiopia and we where hopefully going to get some answers to what is going on and what now has been done to get our file moving again but due to the storm we have been experiencing and the power outages they where not able to contect them and no information was received.
So we continue to wait and hope to hear something!

Say a little prayer for us......
I would like to ask all those out there who read this to say a little prayer for us (or send positive vibes our way if you are not a prayer). We have been having some problems with getting A&A's visas issued. It seems it is a paperwork issue that could be as simple as a translation error and new documents being re-translated/corrected or it could be the need for new original documents or worse (which I am not even going to think about venturing down that road of thoughts). Please join us in hoping and praying for the best and that we can get things back on track.
I thought once we passed court and the kids where legally part of our family that the worrying would be done but unfortunately it seems to never end. How is it fair that you have children in another country that share the same last name as you yet you are still not allowed to bring them home to your own country? A country that we where born and raised in and call home!
Unfortunately there are so many things happening right now with so many different peoples adoption that I think we all could use a little extra right now.
Trying to stay positive and hoping for the best!

Christmas and New Years
I can't believe Christmas and New Years are both gone again for another year. We had a good Christmas. It was not what we had thought was in store for us but we did manage to have some really great moments. We spent lots of time visiting with family and friends and spending time outside.
Hope everyone has a great 2010!
